A friend of mine asked, in a fit of frustration, “What is wrong with people?” I suspect many of us ask that several times a week in various scenarios. Sometimes the problem is us, sometimes it is Them. Our frustration with other people boils down to not having an understanding of the root of the…

Lent could be your opportunity for great growth
As a ceremonialist and a shaman, the patterns of how the various celebrations overlap around the world are also of interest to me. Most of the Christian celebrations, for example, are defined by the sun and the solar calendar, with the exception of Easter and its surrounding observations. Easter is a combination of solar and…
Connections – Tarot Card of the Month for March 2019
This month’s pull is the Ten of Cups, again from the Starman Tarot by Esther and Davide De Angelis. My usual Tarot deck is the Robin Wood Tarot, and the visual language is so different from this one, and yet, somehow, it has a lot of the same feeling of it (connections, community, family). The…
Psychic Protection is foundational, empowering information
A lot of people get annoyed when they want to study with me and I tell them they need to take my Psychic Protection class first. They argue that they already know the information. They argue they just want to learn The Thing. Sometimes they just wander off. Psychic Protection is a prerequisite for so…

If you’re feeling depressed, overwhelmed, or fatigued, here are some explanations and, more importantly, some solutions.
A perfect time to change
Mars (action), Jupiter (expansion), Saturn (foundation, structure, boundaries), and Neptune (dream time, imagination) are all in their home signs.
Looking ahead to 2019
We are approaching (but have not yet arrived at) a moment when we are ready to build a new foundation. That means, of course, that the old foundation has to continue to crumble away. Throughout this process, we will all have the opportunity to reinvent ourselves, and to let go of false identities. This is…
End of the year reading special
Before the holidays, I acquired a new tarot deck – the Starman Tarot, by Davide de Angelis, an artist who did a lot of work with David Bowie. The artwork in the deck is inspired by the artworks he created for Bowie, in fact. The detail of the visual language is amazing, and the write…
